Mr. Phuong was our technical rep during the installation of our POS system and kitchen display system (KDS). He was very knowledgableWith theentire sysyem and always able and willing to answer all our question. After the install he provided ongoing assistance at anytime day or night. Great employee and a true asset to Speed POS.

We tried Speed POS. During our initial sales/demo meeting with them they said we could have it installed and if we did not like it we could get a refund. We installed it. The user interface is not good. It is not user friendly at all . There is virtually no user manuals available other then one that basically tells you how to turn it on and off. They did offer to set it up for use and install our menus and inventory items. But we want to learn how to do it ourselves so we could make changes as needed. But the system is rely designed to have to have their people do all that. Perhaps to force you to there maintenance program for an additional cost. While the POS space is packed with providers and very fractured Speed in our opinion is not a viable contender. At least for Western business operating in the F&B space. It seems as if they never consulted with the end user when they developed it. As a full service provider they just do not have it and they do not seem to understand how to fully support. At least a restaurant. They have no integrated payment system. In fact they are not even partnered with any payment gateway they can suggest. We thought we had done our due diligence before we went forward. Their photo gallery on this site suggest that Mc Donalds and KFC use there system but we later found that was not true. We also later found that when asked for a refund we would have to pay a 30% depreciation fee for havIng the system for 71 days. When we objected and asked them just to send back the equipment we had returned. They tried to rip us off for more money. The system is already expensive, costing in excess of 85 million VND as compared to Oracle which provides each piece for $1. And we finally went with Oracle. Speed might be okay for a Vietnamese business that does not want to track the moving parts of their business and control cost. But there system, for example was not designed to reduce labor cost. Indeed, as presented the POS has to be maned by someone at all times to approve each order before it can be sent to kitchen display system. This was explained to us as needed in case an item was not available. Other systems you can just hide the item that is not available instantly so it is not placed on an order.In conclusion this system may work for a Vietnamese business that does not require much. Our primary reason for choosing Speed was because it was available in English where most others are not. That and they offered an eMenu. But the eMenu seemed like it was designed by a junior high school programmer and offered nothing you would expect of an eMenu. In short our recommendation is you stay away from Speed POS.
