Haircut with 9-year-old piano prodigy - Fantastic Experience!It was two nights before I would leave Vietnam and COVID was all over the place. Khanh, the owner of this amazing salon, came to the rescue when I needed a haircut badly, after a month and a half of lockdown. My hair was a total mess and I was craving someone to mow the lawn, so to speak. Khanh happily obliged and was absolutely delightful throughout the experience.Khanh strives to speak English (and any other language spoken by a foreigner--we met a Russian customer on this night) and you can tell he just really loves the people that walk through his door. But the absolute highlight of the whole experience was that introduced me to his really adorable (and talented) nine-year-old son who proceeded to play classical music on the family piano, presumably for me, but who knows. I had never seen anything like it in this country before, and his son was actually brilliant at it. After he played his Bach (or was it Mozart?), he then so adorably started to sing the theme song from Spider Man. It was hilarious and somewhat profound, abstract. I really loved it.I mean, this whole experience was just incredible. We had so many amusing conversations that it was hard to remember the reason I had arrived at their doorstep in the first place, desperate for a haircut.Needless to say, the problem was solved and the experience was above and beyond, just superb: Going here, you will get a royal treatment from this place and feel like youre at home.I cant recommend this place enough! Go if youre in town!
